Yeah, so we called the ambulance, since we thought she was gonna die. I just spent 4 hours in the A&E department. We got home literally 20 minutes ago. Worst part was I said some stupid things to her, we were fighting, I even said "I hate you" and I was freaking out that was going to be last words I said to her. :( I love my mom, I really, really do.

This was a wake up call, no more acting like a stupid kid and acting out. People don't fight with your parents or loved ones, seriously, don't fucking do it. Life's too short for fighting. I'm still really shook up. My mom's fine now and she's fully back to normal but I almost lost my mom today and that is fucking SCARY!

Worst christmas EVER! And I don't even celebrate christmas, since my folks are Jehovah Witnesses and I'm an athiest.

The actual surgery is nothing serious but it's just going under sleep that scares me, see this is why you shouldn't watch T.V movies. :/ I'm probably overreacting. The worst part is I can't eat for half a day and they'll feed me hospital food after the surgery, I've had hospital food and it SUCKS!

So yeah I'll be gone for a couple of days, three days at the most. Wish me luck. :) I'll miss you buzznet.

I'm watching a film to get over it though. I don't want do any work. BLEH

So the film iss called Anjali and it's one of the best movie made in the Tamil film industry from the 90's. I haven't watched it since I was 8 but I remember it being good and crying.

It's basically about a family who deals with their third daughter who is autistic and has a terminal illness. This is one of the first Indian films that actually deals with autism. As soon as she's born the father decides to tell his wife and their two children that Anjali died rather than put them through the heartache of bonding with her and losing her. Two years later they discover that Anjali has actually survived despite doctors saying she'll only live for a couple of months, so the family take her back and it follows with them learning how to live with a mentally challenged child.

I think this is a problem that still prevails in India since people with disabilities especially children are treated like a burden. Children like Anjali are often either given to a care facility and treated like a dirty secret, this film basically challenges that way of thinking.

So if you can find a subtitled version of this film on youtube, you have to watch it! They do break into song and dance randomly though but hey it's an Indian film. :D

My mom is seriously pissing me off. She exepcts too much from me, she made me go to work saturday when I made it clear to her I had to do my homework, she said I could do it on sunday. On sunday she made me help out with her chores because shewasn't organized enough, then she expects me to go to work, AGAIN. I refused and she gets all angry with me for trying to finish school work. I mean how can you expect me to do well at college and work for you in the space of two days? And she wonders why I do crap at school...

This is my last year at college and I can't afford to fuck up, my mom just doesn't understand. She seems to think you can do homework within a matter of hours. I'd like to see her try to do a photography essay on the modernist viewpoint, do the research link the russian revolution in it, evaluate 2 photographs by Rodchenko or Maholy-Nagy AND take 6 phtos based around the theme not to mention evaluate THAT too. This takes a week to do not hours. She's driving me crazy!!! Granted I have been waking up at like 12pm on the weekends but after a week of waking up at 6am I need to have a sleep it. I actually wake up earlier than she does on weekdays. I admit that physical stress at my mom's job is tough but so is mental stress from studying. It sucks when your parents don't try to understand you.

*sigh* I'm just tired of everything, especially education. With the way things are going my parents are making me not want to go to unversity.

I'm researching up on Russian history now, Stalin, Lenin yaddah yaddah. I have biology next. *le sigh* then another free, well it's tutor but it basically finishes in 5 mins. Then finally, FINALLY I have film. *dances* yaaaaaaay!

Oh while we're at it let me tell you about the most recent film I watched, Whisper of the heart a Studio Ghibli creation. If you like me love Studio Ghibli movies (Spirited away, Howl's moving castle, Kiki's Delivery service, My neighbour Totoro, Princess Mononoke) this is another gem you have to watch, it still proves to be good despite being more than a decade old.

It doesn't have the fantasy element like most Ghibli films but it still has that gentleness, you can watch the film knowing the director isn't going to fuck with your sanity. At heart, it's a love story but what I like about this movie is that it's a realistic love story, the characters actually want to succeed in their dreams before getting together.

I don't have the time to explain more about this film my lesson starts in 10 mins, I'd rather not be late but if you have the time watch this movie and be absorbed in the story. It's only 111 minutes long.

I waited for 15 minutes for my friend who was late because she was waiting at the wrong place. *sigh* To top it off my new timetable for this year sucks! I get off school at 3 or 4pm this year. GAHHHHHH! I really wanted to have Film first lesson, I did on thursday but sine we don't start classes until 9.50am, I have to wait until tommorow damn! My friend didn't get into the same photography class as me and Pia, so she has to spend another year with snooty bitchy girl who put their huge bags on the table. Well, the good news is both me and my two other friends are free on wednesdays so we can continue with our anime/east asian films club. YAY I'm the co-leader. :D This year is going to be fun.

Since me and my friend had nothing better to do for the next 35 mins, we went across to the university campus cafe and bought some food to eat (I had't ate breakfast yet). Heh big mistake since I turned up 5 mins late for my first lesson (biology), great way to start the new year off! I actually almost got there 5 mins early but I left my notebook on the cafe table so I ran across the campus to retrieve it, I mean how dumb would you look arriving to your first lesson with nothing to write in? Then when I FINALLY get there and swipe into my lesson, my card doesn't work, why you ask? BECAUSE I FORGOT TO GET A NEW CARD DURING MY ENROLLMENT! I WAS USING AN OLD CARD. GRRR ASDFJOCUHRVBERJ'KL! My stupidity deserves caps lock and keyboard smashes, that's how embarassed and angry I felt. >.> I was starting off great.

After rushing to the student services to get a new card before my second lesson, who then sent me to the front desk, I got my new card...I wish I had a better photo. Why is it you always take bad photos for things like passports and ID cards? I mean can you imagine showing that to people when you really have to? It'd be embarassing to show you looking like an extra off of "The Grudge" when you get pulled by the police or something, thank god they don't put you in jail for taking bad photos, unless you know you live in some obscure country where appearance means everything.

It turns out I still had the same teacher from last year for psychology, the one who's on a realitty T.V shows, we're not allowed to mention"come dine with me" near her for a two weeks, shame since I wanted to know what she thought of her bitchy edits on the show. *sigh* I'm going to have to do Sports psychology, great, especially since I despise sports with every fibre in my body. -.- I'm going to have soooooo much fun, clearly. Pia's doing Forensic psychology, lucky!

I had two extra frees so I hung out with my friend from earlier, walking around and talking about photography and sucky parental upbringings. Finally, my last lesson rolled around, photography. I didn't have S***e, so that was good and D****l only took 25mins to explain what we're going to do this year. Most of the projects seemed interesting enough, I have a feeling I'll have to make them interesting if I want to get good grades this year. We have 10 commandments for photography this year, everytime D read one out, I imagined a bullet entering my brain at a very high velocity and blood splattering everywhere, it was that kind of powerful words. Yay for S's random psuedo-philosophical artsy ramblings. "Photography is about working with people, we want to see your transformations this year but more importantly...*wait for it* photography is about LIFE" Give me a break S! Shoot me, shoot me now! I love photography I do but this guys artsy fartsy crap is enough to make you want to reduce your arm to splinters by puching the wall repeatedly. Oh how I loathe him and his comments. Apparently we have to do an A2 book on our photos all handwritten with beautiful desgins, fuck that, I'm printing everything out, I have no time to play with S's favouritism, he marks my work or I'll get the college on his arse! I wasted time last year making my book look pretty even though it didn't gain me any marks, so I ask you S, WHAT WAS THE BLOODY POINT? I got an E, needless to say. So I'm not giving him what he wants.

After I got let out, me and Pia went into town to buy her some high heels. *laugh* It was funny seeing her almost fall on her ass trying to walk in them. We're going again tommorow too since we didn't have any luck finding good shoes.

Well that was my first day recapped for you. I'm starting off great. I actually forced myself to finish all my homework and clean my room before I got on buzznet, have to be strict on myself so I don't procastinate half my school year again. :)

I have to go to bed now. Guess what I have first thing tommorow? Photography and with my FAVOURITE teacher!
